Not all BitTorrent clients are unfortunately of equally good quality. So some additional (ad) software, or even malware delivered. Because of the open source character of Halite, you won in this program does not have to worry about that. This program does not perform any hidden tasks on the background of the operating system and it is and remains completely free.
Halite is a open source bittorrent client for Windows computers. There are regularly new updates of the program released and it contains no ads, popups or other annoying things.
It is certainly not the most versatile client, but that is also directly the strength of the program. It includes only those features that most users also regularly will need. The user interface will remain clear with only a few large eye-catching buttons at the top of the window.
The source code and the software of Halite was used to be shared via Sourceforge, nowadays, the creators switched over to the more popular GitHub as my main source. For the moment, the files are also on Sourceforge offered.
