Bambi ... What can we say about Bambi? It is the most adorable animal that inspires the most tenderness of all those who have left the Walt Disney factory. He was the protagonist of a color animation film based on the novel "Bambi, a life in the forest", written by Felix Salten and published in 1923. The film was made and produced by Walt Disney, and distributed by the company RKO Radio Pictures. It premiered on August 13, 1942, and is the fifth film in the Disney animated classic series.
Bambi is a little insecure and shy fawn, who lives with his mother in the forest. Bambi will meet new friends, such as Tambor the rabbit, Flor the skunk and Faline the fawn. Bambi will learn great lessons from his beloved mother, until he loses her because of the hunters, in one of the most tearful scenes in film history. After the fateful events, he goes to live with his father, the Prince of the Forest. When Bambi becomes a young and strong deer, he will be forced to fight for the love of his life and face the man, his greatest enemy.
