Today, for an Arkanoid game to get attention, it has to be, first and foremost, witty and original. And it is that the classic arcade "brick breaker" of the Japanese company Taito can boast of being one of the games that more plagiarism and clones has inspired. But this title that we want to present on this occasion, baptized with the name of Brick Boy, does meet those requirements to spare, because it is still the Arkanoid of a lifetime, but with some important differences that make it stand out hopelessly between the rest of the original clones that swarm on the Internet.
And it is that this peculiar version of the mythical Arkanoid called Brick Boy is not played with the typical paddle, but with a bald boy and a little big head, who has to move around the screen hitting the ball with his head, to, thus, destroy the largest possible number of colored bricks that make up each level of the game. The gameplay is the same as always, but it is undeniable that the original graphic section and the designs of this game will surprise anyone who has tried other versions and adaptations of the legendary arcade of Tatio.
One of the strengths of Brick Boy is that it allows you to jump, so you can hit the ball before it reaches you and, thus, give it a different effect.
