Chess-7 is a very complete chess game that allows you to play against the computer or against another person.
Chess-7 has 3 levels of difficulty: Easy (Easy), Normal (Normal) and Hard (Above normal), so you can adapt the program to your level in the art of chess. In addition, you can choose to play with white or black, and play against the computer or against another player. You can also define the name of your player and you will be ready to play.
The movement of the pieces can be in two ways: either by chopping on a piece and then on the target square, or by dragging the piece to the desired square with the mouse. In addition the program visualizes the possible movements of our pieces shading the available boxes.
The program has several fully configurable aspects. Thus, we can change the colors of the board and the models and colors of the figures among several available (Modern, Classic, Leipzig, Alpha, Chess-7, Master, Magnetic, etc ...). We can also change the scoring system of the plays (Standard or Long), the board size (75% or 100%), etc ...
Chess-7 also keeps a record of all the plays played during the game, which will allow us to analyze each play of the game and learn the techniques of the game, and has several options to see on the screen, as we can visualize or not the captured pieces, the coordinates of the board, the last movement, white at the top or bottom of the board, etc ...
The program also analyzes positions or solves chess play problems (defining our own games with the pieces we want), and gives you the possibility to import and export games, print the game notation, save and load games, etc. We can even record an image of the game in BMP graphic format or in TXT text format.
Chess-7 also has the possibility of playing on a local network or on the Internet. It will be enough for a player to act as a Server (which will choose white or black) and another as a Client, without indicating on both computers the IP address and the access port.
