ChildCentre is a program designed to control in the most automatic way possible the time that a child spends playing on the computer throughout the day. Even if an adult is not close to the child to monitor him, Child Center will control the total play time and automatically close the corresponding application when predetermined limits are exceeded. If the latter happens, Child Center will not allow more programs to be opened throughout the rest of the day.
The child can only run their programs from within the Child Center. Previously, an adult must tell ChildCentre the list of allowed programs that can be run, as well as the total time available. The child can only be during that time in front of the computer, not a second more. When there are 10 minutes left to reach the total time limit, the program emits sounds to warn of this circumstance. The same happens when there are 5 minutes left, and when only one minute remains. If the child does not close the game manually before time runs out, then Child Center will automatically close it.
Of course, the remaining time can be seen at all times in the Child Center panel, both numerically and through a graph. It is important to be clear that time will be counted only when a game is running. You can only have one program open within ChildCentre, so if the child wants to open a new one, you must close the previous one.
