When programming or working internally with database systems, one of the main problems encountered by the developer is the difference and incompatibility of formats. You have to be continuously changed from one format to another, rewriting the same code in several different ways, with the consequent inconvenience and waste of time. An interesting alternative for these cases is the use of specific converters that perform this task automatically, and CSV2SQL is precisely one of them.
CSV2SQL is a small database program that converts a CSV file into a separation format using commas (', '), semicolons ('; ') or tabs, into SQL92 INSERT statements. The output will be a normal and current SQL file.
This application uses a header row in all its files for column names in INSERT INTO statements. For the rest, CSV2SQL is a fairly simple program that practically explains itself, since it does not perform more tasks than those already mentioned above. If we still have any doubts, we have sensitive help in the interface status bar. Simply sliding the mouse cursor over the elements we can read what each one is for.
CSV2SQL is a completely free tool that does not take up a significant amount of disk space: it is just over 200 Kb in size.
