dsSHA is a small utility, just 7 KB, which does not even require installation, and whose function is to provide you with the SHA information of the file that you indicate. The SHA-1 information is a digital signature of the file (such as CRC or MD5) that is usually used to detect the attack of viruses, hackers, and so on.
Once this information is obtained, dsSHA shows it to you on a screen and offers you two possibilities: copy it directly to the Windows clipboard to be reused in another application or create a text file with that information and save it.
Logically, it is such a small program, dsSHA barely consumes system resources.
