Fast Data Transfer is an application whose objective is, as its name says, fast data transfers. It is capable of reading and writing at disk speed in conventional network environments with the standard TCP protocol. It uses an asynchronous, flexible and multi-threaded system. Here are some of its most important features:
* Use independent threads to read and write on each physical device.
* Transfer data in parallel in multiple TCP streams if necessary.
* Uses buffers of the appropriate size for both disk inputs and outputs and for the network.
* Asynchronous restoration of data from buffers.
* It is able to resume a file transfer session without loss.
NOTE: Being developed in Java, Fast Data Transfer requires that you have Java Runtime Environment installed.
