FastResolver is a small free utility capable of resolving or finding out multiple host names by translating them to their corresponding IP addresses. We can also perform the reverse process, that is, guess the host name from a given IP address.
Both the handling and the FastResolver interface are very simple. Simply type in the list of IP addresses (or failing that, the host name) you wish to resolve. Another possibility is to specify a range of IP addresses that you want to track, instead of limiting yourself to just one.
In the field of local networks, FastResolver will also allow you to obtain the MAC address of all the IP addresses you specify. It should also be mentioned that we are facing a multi-threaded application (it uses more than one thread for each task) so you can solve dozens of addresses in just a few seconds. The operation of resolving an IP address and obtaining its host name is not tested on Windows 98 and Windows ME systems.
The download file is in English, but on the program's website you can download translation files separately to other languages, such as Chinese, Russian, Galician, Japanese, Polish, Italian, Slovak or German.
You can free download FastResolver 32, 64 bit and safe install the latest trial or new full version for Windows 10 from the official site.
