GPU is a Gnutella client that allows its users to share CPU resources, creating a kind of 'computer alliances'. In other words, the purpose of this program is to join the forces of several teams to get tasks done in less time.
This system for sharing resources and CPU time does not recognize any privileges between users. Each person assumes to contribute to the network the resources as they are needed, and in return he can obtain CPU cycles from other clients of the same network.
Plugins can expand the capabilities of client nodes, and are compiled for that purpose and to take advantage of the power of the latest model processors. GPU includes a search engine (so far, experimental). The size of the GPU clusters varies between 5 and 15 computers. It is also possible that the users themselves organize themselves in teams, and display statistics of all of them.
