This software instrument called Granulator has been designed to work as a real-time audio granular synthesizer, with MIDI support. How does a granular synthesizer work? Very simple: Programs of this type literally generate thousands of 'granos' or very small sound particles (short duration), to create sound textures.
Its interface is divided into several sections to control each aspect of the sound separately: delay, amplifier, events, oscillator, filters, etc.
Granulator is a completely free tool and does not take up a significant amount of disk space. You will hardly notice its presence on disk, since it occupies apenass 46 Kb in size.
