Hoosns is a small application used to read a hosts file, and show name mappings to IP4 addresses on UDP port 53 to clients requesting such information. It is a very small program, completely free and with a very basic design, aimed at users with very specific needs.
Hoosns can be very useful in situations of testing or laboratories (or even domestic) that require partial DNS services (search for domains in the network). Of course, it should be stressed that at the moment the program is only capable of resolving domain names to IP4 addresses (not IP6).
You can free download Hoosns 32, 64 bit and safe install the latest trial or new full version for Windows 10 from the official site.
