Create rhythms and sound textures from any sound you import into the program, simply moving and properly handling the nodes and indicators of IXI Slicer Beta. It is an application designed for users to create music and sounds in an unconventional way.
We will try to explain the operation or idea of the IXI Slicer program. Generically, Slicer means 'cutter', and that is what the program does with our sound files. The 'slices' slices and overlaps each other. These 'sound bands' will be created and manipulated according to the position of the control nodes, represented in the application interface by a square.
The cutting nodes (in color) control the volume (vertical position) and tone (horizontal) of each slice or sound fragment, while the control nodes handle parameters such as length, depth or starting point for each of the pieces.
Slicer is a completely free application and built using Mirra, a 2D Python graphics library with an open source license, specifically developed by IXI, the creator of this IXI Slicer.
You can free download IXI Slicer Beta 32, 64 bit and safe install the latest trial or new full version for Windows 10 from the official site.
