That mythical franchise developed by the Hungarians of Novotrade International (now Apaloossa Team) for the Sega company, which had deliveries for Mega Drive, Game Gear, MegaCD, PC, Nintendo DS, Dreamcast or PlayStation 2, put us in the skin of a Adorable dolphin, with which we had to cross the deep sea, crossing labyrinthine levels, solving puzzles, interacting with other characters and avoiding the enemies and dangers that populated each phase of the game. Now, thanks to Laser Dolphin, we will meet the bad cousin of the adorable original Ecco.
And it is that the protagonist of Laser Dolphin is another dolphin, only that it carries a missile shuttle attached to its body, and has very little patience with enemies. Unlike in the title of Sega, where the development was rather calm and peaceful, here we will not have a second of respite, since the action, the shots and the explosions will be the true leitmotif of the game.
We have four different difficulty levels, so that we can select the one that best suits our needs. And we are waiting for nothing more and nothing less than 50 different screens, in which we will have to deal with all kinds of hostile sea creatures, including torpedo fish, mechanical sharks and TNT turtles. With each of the enemies, we will have to use a different combat technique. With some, a single frontal shot will suffice; with others, it is best to attack them from their rear; while others, the most dangerous, the most advisable will be not to disturb them.
