MicroCounter is a tool used to automatically count small objects or particles within a JPEG image taken from a microscope. It is an ideal program to determine, for example, the concentration of cells or bacteria in a liquid medium. In general, everything that means detecting objects of very small size within a digital image.
MicroCounter is a completely free application that barely occupies 2 Mb of disk space, a very affordable size for the times. It includes two sample images so we can better understand how to work on real patterns. For its correct operation, it is necessary to have the Java Runtime Environment installed on the computer previously.
