All who are fond of table games in general, and more specifically those with a strategic development, without a doubt, you will remember the mythical Risk. It was a game in which participants had to fight on a board for the conquest of certain territories on the map. Now, a unique adaptation of that classic comes to our computers: OpenFracas.
OpenFracas is a free open source game that has certain similarities with the famous game Risk. The difference between both games is that in OpenFracas, chance does not play a determining role. Here, the conquest of a territory is more studied, because the number of troops in that territory is taken into account when making the conquests. The objective of the game is to conquer the world by eliminating your rivals. It allows up to six human or computer controlled players.
In OpenFracas (something you couldn't do in Risk) you have the opportunity to create ports through which to move troops. You have three possible movements: replenish troops, move towards a territory (or build a port), and move the troops.
All this and much more in a game where strategy and mathematics are very important.
