Phorest is a graphical utility with a specific purpose that is used to modify the aspect ratio (also known as the 'aspect ratio') of one or several digital images instantaneously.
It is interesting the possibility of selecting, within each image, an area where a certain aspect ratio will be applied. We must not confuse the fact of resizing an image (which is not what Phorest does, since the final number of pixels will be the same) with varying the aspect ratio or proportion. For example, some of the most used aspect ratios are 16x9.4x3 or 2x3.
In addition, we can configure whether we want to preserve EXIF metadata, or establish what minimum size the photographs must have to be recognized by Phorest.
