PromptPal offers its users a modern user interface for the Microsoft command console (the DOS prompt). This program is not a substitute for the MSDOS console, since each instruction we execute will run through the cmd.exe as usual, but it does add various functionalities and aids that largely solve some of the limitations of the console, and thus be able to work in a more comfortable, fast and efficient way.
Among other things, PromptPal offers us sensitive contextual help, command history, customizable command list, dialogs to open files or insert routes without typing, etc. PromptPal integrates seamlessly with Windows Explorer, and optionally as a toolbar for more comfortable access if possible.
