SDTConnector provides the user with a simplified way of tunneling through the SSH various network services based on TCP and UDP protocols: for example, RDP, VNC, HTTP or Telnet. In this way, the objective is to offer access to systems and devices within a certain network environment.
SDTConnector is developed in Java, and uses an implementation of the Java secure channel (Java Secure Channel, or JSch) to create SSH redirects, or SSH tunnels as they are known in slang.
A client on the local host will automatically connect to the remote host through this secure SSH tunnel, instead of using an insecure protocol as is often the case in these cases (usually Telnet or VNC).
