ShowTx is a very simple and small (just 34 KB) text editor, totally free, very aesthetically similar to the Windows Notepad.
One of the main features of ShowTx (and what differentiates it from the Notepad) is that both the background color and the format / style of the letter to be used can be configured. You can also specify that the resulting TXT text is read-only (so that it cannot be modified).
ShowTx can also be executed from the Windows command line or under an MSDOS environment (the author's website specifies the parameters to be added to obtain each function).
