In the not too distant future, man, equipped with new and surprising technologies applied to space, has begun multiple interstellar missions, with the aim of colonizing other planets, to be able to use their energy sources, since those on Earth are about to run out. In one of these incursions into other worlds, an earthly ferry has run into a whole battalion of alien ships that, apparently, have also targeted the natural resources of the planet in question.
