The Spirit Screensaver is a great official screensaver of the movie The Spirit, and has its origins in the famous comic The Spirit, by Will Eisner, one of the best cartoonists in history.
The Spirit was first published in a Sunday with 16 pages at a time when there was a real passion for superheroes: around 1940. In this story the main character is Denny Colt, a flesh and blood hero, without powers, which has been taken for dead while protecting the inhabitants of Central City from gangsters and thugs, and who goes out into the street ambushed in different costumes.
They highlight the then narrative techniques, with light effects and almost cinematographic frames of the comic, and that you will now see reflected in this screensaver in all its splendor.
