Transmute is a very useful free program used to transport the Favorites folder from one browser to another, all quickly and easily.
It is operational with browsers (among many others) such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome. Transmute will ask you which browsers you want to transfer, as well as the location on the hard drive for the folder.
The program is also responsible for creating backup copies of the favorite lists, which is a good security measure.
NOTE: For the correct operation of Transmute you need to have previously installed the Microsoft NET Framework 2.0 component or higher.
