VidCutter is a good looking application for cutting clips from videos or films. This way you can shorten long videos, select fragments or remove parts (for example advertising).
VidCutter works easily. Choose a video via the Open Media button, click on Start Clip at the beginning of your clip and at the end on End Clip and then choose Save Media. Your clip will now be saved in the same folder as the original (with EDIT added to the name).
VidCutter uses FFMpeg and supports the following formats, among others:
AVI, MP4, MOV and FLV
VidCutter has additional options such as SmartCut (precisely choose key-frame) and a Clip Index to merge multiple clips. You can also choose a dark theme for VidCutter.
VidCutter is quick and easy to use and looks great. There are versions for Windows, Mac and Linux.
VidCutter is only for cutting clips from videos. For special effects and more editing options you have to go to more advanced video editors.
