As its name indicates, Alternate Viewer is a digital image display utility. With this application you can quickly and easily locate all the photos stored on your computer's hard drive and view them, while displaying the properties of each of them.
The graphic interface of Alternate Viewer is divided into several parts: on the left side of the tree-shaped screen a list with all the existing folders and files on the PC, below it the image properties are shown in three tabs selected, and to its right this one with the tools available to work with it and the other photos with which it shares a folder.
Alternate Viewer includes a printing tool with which you can take out the thumbnails of your photos, multiple photographs per sheet and even an image as a poster on several pages. Alternate Viewer thus becomes an ideal application for those who want to build their own web page, for the creation of online slides, screen savers or small AVI videos made with your own images. To do this, it has a series of editing utilities, to modify the size, add borders to the photo or rotate it.
