Amazon offers since april 2013, an online storage and synchronization service under the name Cloud Drive.
Amazon Cloud Drive is a free service for storing and managing files "in the cloud". This means that these files are saved online and synced between your different computers.
When you click one of your computers to make changes in a document is automatically the latest version of this file stored on all your computers where you have Amazon Cloud Drive installed. The desktop agent that synchronization provides is available for Windows and Mac computers. There is also a mobile app for Android devices (Cloud Drive Photos), but allows you to only store photos.
Cloud Drive create a new folder on your computer where you save files that you also automatically online want to save, and synchronize. Within this folder after installation by default, three sub-folders: documents, photos, and videos. Of course you can have more folders to add.
The free version of Amazon offers 5 gigabytes of online storage. You can use your online stored files from anywhere via a web browser away. To do this, go to the Amazon web site and log in with your personal account. When you have more than 5GB of storage need then you need to pay for an upgrade. There are different paid packages, the largest, offers 1 terabyte of storage.
