ARPCache is an almost secret and undocumented section of the Windows registry, and is used to store information about Add / Remove programs objects in the latest versions of Windows. If you open the Add / Remove programs option in a relatively recent Windows, you will notice that more information has been progressively added to each program: size, frequency of use, last use ... and none of this appeared in the first Windows versions. This data is stored in binary files in the registry ARPCache.
ARPCache Viewer serves precisely to decrypt these binary files and show what is in each entry. Eye: Do not confuse ARPCache with the ARP protocol (which stands for Address Resolution Protocol, it is documented and has nothing to do with this program).
One of the problems with the ARPCache area is that Windows automatically adds these objects to its storage area, but does not eliminate them when programs are uninstalled. That is why there are traces of programs that apparently should not remain in our system. ARPCache Viewer can be used to clean the ARPCache area, and thus not have to use an external program to clean the Windows registry.
