Drop Defender is a fun free strategy game where the player must assume a defensive attitude and prevent enemies from advancing along the way. To do this, it has to choose strategic points to locate its towers and thus be able to shoot at the aliens, which are shaped like water drops, and that intend to invade our planet.
Each of the aliens carries a bar on their head that indicates how much energy they have left. Drop Defender also shows the speed and amount of enemies in the game. For each enemy that completes the map, the player will lose a life. There are three difficulty levels in Drop Defender. In one of them, Sandbox, there is the possibility of buying weapons with money. It is recommended to start with the Easy mode, which is how the name indicates the simplest, and in which the enemies are not especially aggressive.
Drop Defender includes nine types of towers and eight types of territory, with different paths and obstacles. The player can opt for any of them and develop their strategies.
