The authors of Venables define it as a strategy game, and it certainly is, because you will have to demonstrate all your strategic skills to achieve the objectives, yes, it is a tremendously cerebral game that will make you think a lot of each of your movements.
The objective of Venables is to obtain on the board 8 pieces followed by the same shield. For this you will have a series of pieces that contain shields that you can change in your turn, but at the same time, your opponent tries to achieve exactly the same in his corresponding turn. In this way, your opponent will sometimes break all the planning achieved with his pieces, although other times you will benefit from the changes he makes.
