Feed Notifier is a free rss feed reader for Windows. The program gives a popup alert when new messages are published via a feed you subscribed to. The message appears from the Windows system tray at the bottom of the screen.
You can use the program and the notifications all the way to the set. For instance, you can change the following properties: the length of time that the popup remains on the screen, the size of the window, the interval, the transparency of the box, etc.
The Windows version is completely free, the version for Mac there is later added to a small amount to be paid.
