After the incontestable success of The Simpsons, its author, the incombustible Matt Groening, decides to change his air, and try his luck with a new animated series, whose theme has little or nothing to do with the adventures of Homer and his family. On this occasion, the plot revolves around a young man named Fry who, after accidentally falling into a cryogenic capsule, is frozen, and wakes up many years later, in a society in which aliens, spacecraft and robots of all kinds coexist. It will soon make friends with some of the most bizarre characters we can imagine, including a drifted, responding, alcoholic and selfish robot who calls himself Bender, and who has become the most beloved character in the series.
