Do you remember the game Puzzle Bobble, also known as Bust-A-Move? The mythical arcade of the Japanese of Taito, developed in 1984, became an instant success that has transcended to this day, since all kinds of clones and games inspired by the original are still being made today. In that title, we helped the cute dragonitos Bub and Bob (the protagonists of the other great Taito franchise, Bubble Bobble) to explode all the bubbles that populated the stage, throwing, from the bottom of the screen, new bubbles of the same color that we want to break. The game that we present here is one of those adaptations that emerged after the "boom" of the original title. Its name is Splash Blast and, as you will see, it presents a most refreshing interface.
And it is that Splash Blast versionates the playability of the classic Puzzle Bobble, moving the games from the psychedelic and colorful setting of the original to a stage located in a sea of crystalline waters, and replacing the charismatic and endearing dragon Bub and Bob with a large orca and a huge sea lion, called Shamu and Seymour, respectively.
The orca Shamu will be in charge of providing us with the colored balls that we will have to throw, and the sea lion Seymour, using his snout to aim, will be the one to throw them. A great teamwork that, added to our aim and ability, will allow us to end all the spheres of colors on the screen, to be able to move to the next level.
