Splitty Lite is a free version of the Splitty program, designed to divide files into many smaller ones and thus be able to transport them easily.
You can divide your files in two ways, by the number of cuts you want to set or by the size you want the resulting files to contain. If you divide your files with Splitty Lite you can be absolutely sure that the original file will not be damaged at any time.
This application, Splitty Lite, can be very useful when you need to transport files from one computer to another and because of their size they do not enter diskettes, pen-drives, or other external storage units. You can also use Splitty Lite when you need to send large files via email and divide the original file into several so that your mail server can send it. Once you get all the divisions, you can re-join them to reshape the original file.
As the only limitation presented by this Lite version of Splitty, we have to mention that you can only join files that have been previously divided with the same program. In addition, like Splitty itself, it is compatible with all types of files, be they audio, graphics, text documents, etc.
