The Suffering is a third-person adventure and action game, in which you must assume the role of a criminal, or so it seems, since Torque, who is called the protagonist, is imprisoned in a high security prison for Kill his wife and children.
During Torque's stay in the prison, strange things begin to happen, terrifying creatures invade the place, knocking down everything they find in their path. To survive you must fight against them, but other people who are housed in the same prison also fight between life and death.
