The open-source Digital Audio Workstation Ardour is a professional tool for recording and editing music on the Mac OS X and Linux. The Software is based on the Pro-program Pro Tools, and allows any number of Audio and MIDI tracks. Supported on Mac OS Ardour both VST Plug-ins for Windows as the Mac Equivalent of AudioUnit (AU).
