Passa Planes is a program, totally free and does not even require installation, created to be used by disabled people who have motor deficiencies and cannot read books.
From the Passa Planes interface you can view and read books that are activated from the voice that a microphone picks up. The books must be previously scanned and converted to graphic or textual format. To be able to read, the UPCTV voice synthesizer is required; if this DLL is not available, reading capabilities cannot be used.
The texts that Passa Planes allows to read can be in both Catalan and English, and can be read with the voice of a man or a woman.
