SmartClose is an interesting free program that aims to automatically close all programs that are operational, disable the screensaver and stop other processes that can interrupt our activities without asking permission. Before SmartClose closes or deactivates any process, it will save the current state of the operating system (screensaver included) in a system capture, so that it can be opened and restored by the program itself.
If you want SmartClose not to close a program, you don't have to add the name of that program in the Protected Programs list. In case a program cannot be closed, SmartClose includes an option called SmartKill to uninstall it. SmartClose is completely free.
