Sway is a new application from Microsoft to create presentations. Sway is part of Office and actually the looser successor to PowerPoint. Or even better: Sway is Microsoft's own alternative to Prezi - which is now a widely used PowerPoint killer.
With Sway you can create presentations, interactive reports, personal stories and more in a playful way. You can insert and format photo, text, video (including via YouTube) and web content (tweets, Facebook) in a creative way.
Sway requires a Microsoft account. Creations created by you are stored on Microsoft servers and you can share them with others via mail or social networks. Please note that when sharing you mark your presentation as 'unlisted', so that only people who send you the link can view it (otherwise your 'Sway' will become public and visible to everyone on docs.com).
Sway seems to be an interesting answer to competitor Prezi. There is a web application and there are apps for Windows 10, iPad and iPhone. Apps for Android and Windows Phone will follow.
