Panda Dome Free Antivirus (formerly Cloud Antivirus) is a free virus scanner that offers excellent protection against malware and has a simple interface. Tests do show that Panda is not one of the lightest virus scanners.
Panda offers real-time protection against viruses, worms, trojans, dialers, spyware, adware and other malware. Also interesting is the anti-exploit technology in Panda's virus scanner that must stop common attacks on zero-day leaks in for example Java, Flash and Microsoft Office through behavioral analysis.

The management interface of Panda - called Panda Dome - isbasic. It is indicated if you are well protected, you can perform a scan yourself, view the process monitor and you can change some settings. You can also make a rescue kit with Panda (usb stick with rescue functionality) and enable USB vaccination.

In tests by virus scanners, Panda Free Antivirus often comes out well. The protection is therefore excellent. However, Panda - despite the fact that cloud detection should prevent this - has become increasingly difficult in recent years and PCs appear to be considerably slowed down.
Panda Dome offers free updates that are performed automatically. Nowadays, a browser toolbar is also offered during installation that offers some extra protection, but is of particular commercial interest to Panda.
Android
For Android devices there is the AntiVirus Free app (which once installed appears to be simply called Panda Mobile Security). Panda AntiVirus Free or Mobile Security protects your phone and tablet against malware in real time. There is also a privacy check tool to view the permissions of apps (and possibly remove spying apps). Finally, you can interrupt tasks / apps (task killer) with Panda. A well-arranged app that seems to do what it should do. There is also a paid version with some extra functionality.
