WhizBase is a simple but powerful tool that serves to publish databases on web pages. It works as an intermediary between the web visitor and the database that is hosted on a web server, generating an HTML document in response to any search. WhizBase is a preprocessor of hypertexts. This means that the program is installed on the web server and from it it operates.
WhizBase is a stand-alone program: you don't need programs or plugins to work. In this way, the user who visits WhizBase pages does the same as if he were visiting any other website. WhizBase can create websites in HTML, XML or RTF that contain information from merging web templates with databases. WhizBase is operational with all databases supported by Microsoft Jet Engine 3.5 and 4.0, among others.
