Avidemux is a free video editing program. The program makes it possible to video edit, the music behind the video to convert or spoken commentary. Of course, it is also possible to trim video clips to cut and paste. Also, you can use many filters to select the effects to a movie to add.
Audio and video files can be converted to different formats. Avidemux supports AVI, MPEG, MP4 and ASF files.
Avidemux can also be used to convert video to the correct format to put it on a iPod or iPhone playback (MP4). The software is not very easy to use and is therefore not suitable for everyone. It provides advanced features make it suitable for professional use.
The software is in English only and unfortunately does not (yet) been translated into Dutch.
