With the plugin for Firefox, you can change your timeline to display in the sidebar of the browser. This is especially useful when you often click on links in tweets, click or often links tweet. Also, you can set a pop-up message when new tweets, direct messages and/or entries. These pop-ups can also be turned off completely.
