IRPal comes with a large built-in database, ideal for global assignments of functional groups and structural elements. In addition, this database is fully editable, so the user can modify it to extend its functionalities and adjust it to their specific needs.
Broadly speaking, we can say that IRPal is an application that is both intuitive and self-explanatory when its interface is observed in some detail. Anyway, it includes sensitive contextual help, available in the status bar of the program, which is always appreciated. The database referred to above is a tab-delimited text file, which can also be opened to various spreadsheet applications (Excel, for example) to handle it more comfortably.
