PowerLink is a tiny free program that offers the user the possibility to shut down the computer without having to go through the Shutdown Computer button that comes in the Windows Start menu. The only advantage is that it saves some time.
PowerLink has no interface to use. It is limited to installing three icons on the computer (Start / Programs, and also on the desktop): one red (Shutdown: to turn off the computer), one green (Restart: restart) and one yellow (Hibernate: hibernate). The three actions are carried out at high speed, but beyond that the program lacks any other function.
PowerLink is, in short, a little ambitious and well regarded program even expendable, although it is very useful in specific situations, when we must turn off our computer immediately.
