Duois the new video and audio calling app from Google. Duo is clearly a clone of Apple's FaceTime. The interface is, just like FaceTime, very simple. The connection must always be good because Duo automatically switches between WiFi and 4G if necessary. A funny extra is the knock-on function with which the person being called can see who is calling before he answers the call. So you can take a peek and then reject a conversation if you want.
Duo is linked to your telephone number on your smartphone, but also works on iPads (since 2018) and Android tablets (2019). Your contacts must of course also have Duo to be able to make video calls or audio calls. That is why you can send them an invitation to download Duo. There are Duo apps for Android and iOS.
