In the source code of an email is always displayed from which email address this is sent. When will e-mail you want to send from a different address than that of yourself, then that is not your default email client. For this function, it is open source ZMail developed.
ZMail is an open source program which allows you to "fake mails" you can send. This is referred to emails from a different email address than your own seem to be sent.
When you create an email to send to someone without your regular email client to open your server to test or to have a joke with someone or is ZMail's a handy tool.
In ZMail, you enter yourself, the address and the name of the sender sent the email should appear to come. The program includes a WYSIWYG editor for the basic layout of an email form. You can, as (parts of) a text, for example bold lines, slantwise show or underline.
Before the email can be sent, you only need the username, password, and localhost name of your SMTP server.
