Avira Rescue System has a built-in Linux operating system. Once this has been started you can scan your PC for malware with the Avira scanner. Click Avira on the left side of the taskbar and then start the Wizard. You choose the partition to be scanned and click Next. Now the Scan and Repair process starts (which can take a while). Afterwards you will receive a report with the scan results and if all is well the PC has been repaired again.
