Kickass Undelete is an open source program for recovering accidentally deleted files. If you have thrown files (photos, videos, documents) out of the bin or deleted a memory card from your camera, Kickass Undelete can often recover them. Kickass Undelete works for hard drives, USB sticks and SD cards.
Did you know that files are not lost at all if you throw them in the trash and then empty the trash? Windows only says that the space on the hard disk where this file is located is 'empty', so that other files can also take up this space. If the discarded files are not overwritten or not overwritten (or that other files take their place), they can be found by anyone with file recovery software.
Kickass Undelete is an easy-to-use and open source file recovery program (called file recovery or undelete in English). On the left, select the drive that you want to search and then click on scan. After searching you can select the desired recovered files and click on Restore files. It is also useful that you can search for the file name of the lost file.
Kickass Undelete does not have to be installed, you just start the exe file. You can also use Kickass Undelete from a USB stick (so that you are sure that you will not overwrite the lost files on your PC). FAT and NTFS disks, USB sticks and SD cards (from cameras) are supported for searching.
You can free download Kickass Undelete 32, 64 bit and safe install the latest trial or new full version for Windows 10 from the official site.
